I dont know what to get.
the xbox has alot of games that already came out, and a few of them i like, but i always been with playstation, and like EVERY game they ever made.
Gears of war, Rainbow six vegas, and a few other shooters/action games. But the playstation also has rainbow six and a bunch of other games that i like. The real problem here is the money, xbox is only 400 bucks, ps3 is like 500+. Im a broke person also...
What should i get, wich system will give me what i want? the things i want is good action/shooters with online play, and rpg games. So far the PS3 is winning, because it has final fantasy, many other good rpgs, also, action games. Xbox dosnt have many good RPGs that i know of, AND not that MANY action/shooter games, but it is only 300-400 bucks, i could afford that easily...

Im telling you the truth, 100% go with the Xbox 360. Halo 3 is coming out here in a while, you can play halo and halo 2 on it, as you can also all other old xbox games. Tons of new 360 games. PS3 has only a couple, The 360 includes a Xbox live kit - Headset and also includes a remote. PS3 only comes with 1 Wireless controler. The PS3 isnt all that great....You will not be dissapointed, go with the 360.

xbox360 is cheaper and not requiring a 1080p TV. ps3 needs a HDMI cable which is $100 extra and the games are around $70 and if you need a 1080p TV it will be very expensive for the grand total. xbox 360 can hit 1080p with certain games but only asking for a 720p TV. 1080p is Full HD or True HD. 1080p TVs are in the $2000+ zone, xbox 360 will work with HDTVs that are upscale (i.e. 720p, 1080i, 1080p). 1080i is not good as 1080p. all 720p can go up to 1080i.

The PS3 comes in two varieties one model is 499 the other is 599 difference is package (20gb v 60gb) plus i believe controller. But ps3 online play is free. xbox360 charges you to play games online which is called xboxlive. There is a monthly subscription fee. PS3 came out a year later so the technology is a year newer. To upgrade to HD it is also cheaper with the PS3. Plus on the xbox you have to pay 100 to add the hd dvd player. The blueRay dvd on the ps3 comes stock. So that is already a giant money saver that warrents the extra $100. Not to mention when you look at ps2 and xbox. Playstation had a 70% market share. That means more games more players, more competition. So i would suggest you go with the majority and get the ps3.

Thats crap about Xboxes not working. Just return it if it doesnt work. Id go with the 360, with their great game library. Im also tired of the gaming market being dominated by the Japanese, and dont like they way they release so many games only in Japan, and always first over there. Its time to recognize that the biggest gaming market is in the US, and its great to see an American company putting out a great product, which I consider to be superior to the PS3. And I laugh at people that call themselves Sony snobs- guess they dont realize that Sony has fallen behind technically in most electronics manufacuturing to their competitors, and are losing money hand over fist since they are having such a hard time competing anymore. PS3 is make or break for Sony.

360....better games and a more powerful processing system.
Xbox live is only $50 for a year.....and if you decide to upgrade to the HD DVD player it is still cheaper than the PS3.
Also....the games look better on the 360....and if history is any indicator, playing shooters online will work out much better with the XBox.
If you like RPG's.....check out Elder Scrolls Oblivion.
Fable II will also be on the XBox.

Xbox 360 by a long way...great games already out...and halo 3 to come soon, xboxlive rocks..:D
The add-on hd dvd player lets you watch dvds in 1080p and that can't be bad.
Cheaper than a ps3 aswell..so the extra money can go towards games XD

My boyfriend has the PS3 and I love it, it has internet which is seriously cool. I just prefere it since I loved the ps2 also.
I'd say spent the extra money and get the PS3.
there may not be too many games out yet but my boyfriend has got some pretty good ones already and there is also online demos you can get!

Follow your heart if you think that you should get the ps3 get it.If you know alot of games that you could play on the ps3 get it. If you know alot of games that is on the xbox 360 get that one. It should not matter which one costs more get the one that you will be happy with and like to play with. If you name more games on the ps3 get the ps3. If you name more games that is on the xbox 360 get the xbox 360 but get the one that makes you happy.

If your into buying expensive junk- PS3 is for you.
If your into buying a little cheaper not so much junk- x-box 360
If your into buying something cheap and fun- Wii
I have a wii and i love it.
Out of the x-box 360 and the PS3
get a x-box 360.
