Today i realized that my life is all about me, and thats sad!, i am becoming a different person day after day, i feel that i am living life with no rules and limits i can do whatever i want and i'm not liking it, its as if there's no purpose in life that's beyond my own decisions and goals, if you have a similar situation, tell me about it, did u solve it?

You don't say how old you are, but if you're between 13 and 25, then your feelings are pretty natural! I remember driving to university one day when I was 19 and it struck me all of a sudden. I'd had lots of structure and restrictions all my life, I'd done 12 years in Catholic school, and all of a sudden I was paying my own way and making my own choices. (I think I turned the car around and went to the beach that day instead of going to class!) It was really freaky!

As we mature we are faced with a widening exposure to experiences and fewer externally imposed (like from our parents) limits on our behaviour or choices. This is when it's really easy to make bad choices that you could regret the rest of your life (like taking too many risks with driving, drinking, drugs and sex). Sure, have fun and enjoy the freedom you have in front of you. But stay within your values and ethics, live within your own appropriate structure and you can enjoy your life without regrets.

Set yourself some goals or it's too easy to just cruise through life and not achieve any of the dreams you used to have when you were younger (speaking from experience here). Do you have a job that is interesting? Are you attending school and studying something you're interested in? Do you have a supportive group of friends?

Find an interest outside yourself, and work on doing some goal-setting and you should be able to control that out-of-control feeling. I'm 47 and I'm just now sorting this stuff out, so I'm speaking from experience!!!

I think that you need to volunteer some time to help others. If you have a job then you have a purpose in life and it is not all about you. When you have a job, you realize you are helping others and you have a purpose in life and that should make you feel like you are not being selfish.

I'm married and with a job, mortgage, car payments and all that stuff that ties you down, and you want to give up all your freedom.? I would gladly trade you places. I miss what you have. Why shouldn't your life be about you.? Who says life has to have a purpose.? Have fun while you can. I would if I could.

Go read a Bible. In the Bible are morals, rules and limits, and the purpose of life.

So donate some of your time to helping people less fortunate (e.g. children with cancer, MS, etc.). Then you will see that it's NOT all about you and you will be better for it.
