I believe that 1918 was the year that women became elligble to vote.

Suffrage is the right to vote, and it has not ended yet. People still vote. The fight for women's rights (suffrage) has ended though (I dont know when though) because we have that right now.

It depends on where in the world you mean - in some countries women still have no right (or limited rights) to vote.
