Go to bestbuy and buy a wireless mini mouse. They work really good with laptops.

i had two wireless mice and gave up after that. They're pants. Battery life is dreadful. If you use rechargeables, you recharge for every trip. Every time you change batteries you have to re-pair the USB dongle with the mouse. If you have a charging cradle, it defeats the purpose of the laptop! When the batteries get soggy so does the mouse. Awful. Makes it nearly impossible to get any serious work done.

Save some money and buy a mini mouse with a retractable USB wire. Don't save as much as I did - mine cost £3 and it doesn't retract any more. Spend about a tenner, which is what I'll do next time I get a moment.

Right now I am using a wired laser mouse that plugs into the USB port...it works great..better than the one with a ball....Its a mini mouse...A wireless mouse is gonna add extra parts and you also have to buy batteries...hope this was any help...

A week ago I bought a Logitech V150 from Currys for £9.99

This is VERY cheap for a laptop laser mouse. I was going to buy wireless mouse but agree with others here about batteries etc

The V150 is small,light and USB 2

:)

dont go for the wireless mouse... the batteries are just annoying... even if you have re-chargeable ones. If you have a Mac laptop, I suggest Mighty Mouse (awesome), if you have a PC... you're on your own, sorry!
