miniclip.com, funbrain.com, and mathisfun.com.believe me, i get bored too! just make sure you pick the right game, especially on mathisfun.

My son is 8. He often goes to www.lego.com and downloaded Lego Digital Design. Another choice is Google Earth. Also check www.sketchup.com. These 3 websites are perfect for boys but I think girls will love them too.

It's appropriate for kids, and tonnes of fun (I used to play at that age... and I actually learned something. I now know how to build websites as a result of playing neopets.)

You can go to Yahooligans which is for kids. I just did and discovered that it is now called Yahoo Kids (beta).

Register there, and improve your vocabulary through their vocab tution software, which allows you to revise words you know already, and review those that you got wrong on first attempt, hurling words at you in increasing order of difficulty.
