I want to look for an ipod cheap in price either pink or silver and a 1GB. I was wondering if there was a place that sold it beween $100-$175. Where is the best place that will have one at that price???

There is no good reason at all of getting an iPod (unless you have a fetish for the overpriced items). There are many better mp3 players around, most of them are better quality and offer better value for money. BUT THEY ARE NOT THAT POPULAR!
I will recommend you Sandisk Sansa mp3 player. It has the similar size as the iPod nano (and the Sansa's screen is even bigger!), and it is much better. The baterry works 8 hours longer than the one in the iPod nano, and it's replaceable. You can make voice recordings.

Don't bother with an iPod there are much better MP3 players out there, go for a Sony Walkman NW-A800 series. I have the 8 gig version - it stores photos and also plays high quality video unlike the the nano. The 8gb Sony is about £170 but if you must get a nano then a refurbished unit from Apple is your best bet.

there are no cheap places to buy an actual ipod nano. If you try ebay you might find a used one?
