First and foremost congrats on your new plateau in your life.

Responsibility is one of the most important chapters we all have to face in our lives. My advice to you is to embrace it and treat it with ease. Do not be scared.

The more positive you are about the situation the better you will be able to handle it.

And now for the matter at hand, as far as your bill payments are concerned, you should create a household budget for yourself. Include every expense you need to pay out on a monthly basis.

Get out a calender and mark off when your bills are due so you can see it plainly. Next create your budget on an Excel Spreadsheet and update it as you pay your bills.

Check out this link to create your budget:http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/templates/TC062062791033.aspx

If you bank on-line make sure you check your account to verify if there are funds available to pay.

Remember a budget is a spending plan for life. You may have to tweak it from time to time to suit your needs but it is an awesome tool to keep you on track and get your finances organized.

Hope this helps.

Be encouraged! You can do it....

God Bless....

What I did when I first moved out was created a budget. So much out of each check for this, so much for that, etc. Then, when I got paid (I didn't have an account back then) I divided the money up appropriately into envelopes. That way I knew that if I wanted to spend extra money, it was coming right out gas, rent, food, or whatever. Lame idea, but it worked the best for me. I haven't found anything better yet.

get a grip and get a hold of your finances. You sound like a girl, so you should probably quit buying clothes and whorish makeup and spend your money on necessities.
