Press the power button on the CD player. Then click Open, to open the door where you put the CD in. Then close the door, it should either start automatically or press the play button (Check your CD player user manual if you do not know where the play button is.)

Wow you opened yourself up to this one. Put the CD into the tray and press play. If it is your computer put in the tray, close it and it should give you the choice of which player to use. Select Windows media player and it will play it for you. If it won't play you have a problem with the player, or it is recorded in the wrong format.

Take it out of the box.
Press "open" on the CD player in a HI-Fi or dvd player or pc etc. If you don't have one then abort.
Put the cd into the tray with the shiny side down.
Press "close", or push the drawer slightly so that it closes itself.
Press "play"
