I started my periods earlier and i went for a bath and t stopped untill i got out ...i had no tampon in so how did it stop??? I only got my 1st period yesterday

You'll learn to love to take baths while you're on your period, it's so nice to get a little breather! :-) I looked it up and your period doesn't actually stop in the water but the flow lessens so much that almost none comes out of you at that time. Congrats on your first period, I'm sorry to say that there are MANY more to come.

its not like a constant flow of blood. it just trickles out. you probably were only in the bath for like what, an hour max? it takes a long time (like 5-6 hours) for enough blood to flow out to fill a tampon, so it makes sense that not enough came out to notice while you were in the bath.

warm water slows the flow off til your out of it. do not swim with out a tampon

Water naturally slows down you're flow and it's not a bad thing.

i've heard that some people stop bleeding automatically when they go in water... and once they get out, it starts again.... not sure how that works, though....
