Define car. Steam powered, the Stanley brothers. gas powered is still debated being either Ford (here is US) or Daimler (in Germany).
The powered airplane was first flown successfully by the Wright brothers, but again there are debates that they didn't build the first one.
The phone is Alexander Graham Bell.
The silicon wafer turned into an integrated circuit or "IC" chip was invented by Dr Hewlett and Dr Packard in one's garage on a street in a section now called "Silicon Valley". All modern computers use IC chips. The first electrically powered, vacuum-tube computer ever built was the Uniac [I forget the name but I think that is it] and was created by the US military in order to compute ballistic trajectories for artillery shells--i.e. tell the gunners how to elevate and yaw the guns to have round land in desired spot. The first computer, or device used to help compute mathematics, ever invented was the abacus I believe.
