There are several factors that would affect pregnancy including age, health, etc.
Besides that, Birth Control pills are generally dosed on a 25 hour cycle which is why they stress for you to take the pill at the EXACT same time every day. So essentially once that 25 hours is up and you haven't taken a new pill you may become pregnant. However, the residual effects of the pills may prolong getting pregnant by a few months but every person is different. Also, there could have been other factors preventing you for getting pregnant besides BC. There is actually only a small number of times throughout the month your body has an optimal "environment" for pregnancy.

It could take a week, or a year. Depends on your age. It will probably happen within 6 months. Being on the pill does not effect your fertility, and doesn't make it take any longer to conceive. You are very fertile when you come off the pill, although for some women coming off it can cause irregular periods for a while which makes conception more difficult.

Well it depends on how long you were taking them as everybody is different. Doctor advises 2 normal monthly cycles (thus giving your body time to adjust). I came off the pill in December 2004 (long time ago now !!) I was pregnant by March, thou unfortunately lost the baby at 8 weeks (6 weeks later pregnant again) Now have healthy 1 year old baby boy. So good luck to you and have fun trying !!!

This is such an individual thing, there are no rules unfortunately, some people get pregnant right away, others seem to take a long time.
You could buy an ovulation predictor kit so you know the best time for intimacy with your husband, and the net is full of ovulation calendars! Just to maximise your chances. Good luck!

Technically, you could become pregnant on your next ovulation. Most folks wait about 1 month after stopping the pills to attempt conception. The average time frame is 3-4 months after stopping oral contraceptives before conception occurs. Remember the average has a range of low to high numbers.

It depends on a lot of things, age, how long you have been on the pill, your own body. I fell pregnant on the pill and my best friend has been off the pill for 6 months and still no baby!

Took our friend about a year. Not sure if this is usual or unusual. They were almost going to go and have tests to see if something wasn't right but then they got pregnant. Think it was pretty normal period of time since she'd been on pill since she was around 17 and she is 31 now.

I've been off the pill for 1 year after taking it for a year and i still can't get pregnant. Before the pill i had a daughter.........my doctor told me that my total cholesterol levels are too low, basically my body can't make hormones necessary for conception.I guess you have to consult with you doctor to know your situation and how it can be resolved. As for me I'm on a diet inclusive of olive oil so as to boost my good cholesterol ''HDL-cholesterol''
