Its really annoying, it used to be half way between 1 and go, now i cant get it, the computer keeps getting a good head start

To get the turbo boost you want to press the acceleration button when the count down clock gets to 0. You have to do it at the exact moment or you'll spin your tires or you'll start late.

i hold down the A button on 3 then i let go then hold down on two let go hold down on the end of 1 and keep holding takes time to get the timing down but you get a huge boost!
