Actor - Its out of Peter O'Toole (Venus) & Forrest Whittaker (Last King of Scotland)
Actress - Its going to go to Helen Mirren (The Queen)
Movie - Its out of The Queen, The Departed, Letters from Iwo Jima and The Good Shepherd.

For Best Actor I agree w/ you and Wil Smith. The only other real competition I see is Forest Whitaker in "The Last King of Scotland". Both were excellent and Oscar worthy! I also really think Martin Scorsase is FINALLY going to win Best Director for "The Departed" Best Actress I say Helen Mirren for "The Queen". Best supporting Actress is?????? But I see Jack Nicholson for Best Supporting Actor for "The Departed". Best Film should be "The Departed" or "Pursuit of Happyness"

Yeah Leonardo DiCaprio is looking pretty good for an Oscar. I didn't have the opportunity to see "Blood Diamond", but saw "The Departed" and was amazed by his performance, as usual. I think "Pirates of the Caribbean" should at least be nominated for visual effects. I didn't know that Davy Jones dude was actually all CGI.. even his costume was CGI.. that's pretty darn cool.

Lot of Oscar worthy films this year so hard to choose.
If it were up to me - I would pick Forrest Whittaker for Last King Of Scotland - a phenomenal job as the Ugandan Dictator Idi Amin

Leonardo DiCaprio gave two amazing performances in both The Departed and Blood Diamond. I really think he's gonna win best actor.

If there's any justice, Peter O'Toole will win the Best Actor award. His performance in "Venus" is phenomenally good.
