it is too early to hear your baby's heartbeat, usually not able to hear until about 13-15 weeks of pregnancy. the doctor will use an instrument called a doppler, which picks up sound waves. it is not advisable to put your finger into the cervix for several reasons.. you will not be able to feel the baby or the heartbeat and you are actually increasing your risk of an infection. think of the cervix as the door to the house protecting your unborn baby, you don't want that door to open until it is time for your baby to be born. putting your finger into the cervix could cause it to open prematurely and cause labor. good luck.

If your pregnant your cervix should be closed TIGHT! If you meant touching the cervix then the answer is still no. The baby is in your uterus not your cervix.
No you don't have a period while pregnant, pregnancy stops ovulation so there is no need for a period. You CAN bleed bit its NOT a true "period" Any bleeding during a pregnancy may indicate something being wrong and you should go to the Dr.

No, you can't feel the baby's heartbeat by sticking a finger in your cervix at 6 weeks pg. You would be lucky to find a heartbeat by doppler at that age, let alone feel it yourself! AND if you can insert a finger in your cervix that early....that's not good! It should be closed up pretty tightly unless you've had a baby before!

No. You cannot feel the heartbeat from the cervix. In several months, you could hear the heartbeat with a stethoscope.
You may have bleeding during pregnancy, but it is not considered normal & should be checked out.

hi-
no you can not feel babys heartbeat--if you are feeling something in your belly that feels like a heartbeat--that is yours.
and eek-keep your fingers out. Even if they are clean--that can definately cause an unwanted infection.
The doctor may noteven be able to hear babys heart beating until around 12 weeks.
dont worry-it doesnt seem like it, but this time really does fly

No, and you shouldn't be inserting anything in your cervix while you are pregnant because that can cause a miscarriage.
You can have bleeding while pregnant, but it's not a period. It should be reported to your OB because it could indicate a probem.
