I think you've got way too much time on your hands and perhaps not enough between your ears to truly understand how to use that time.
Even at that, Benito Santiago was a good but not great hitting catcher, a very good but not great throwing catcher, and not that great at calling a game. The latter is the most important part of the catcher's job.
