Webkinz are stuffed animals that come with a secret code which you use to create an account on the Webkinz website. The secret code grants you 12 months access to the website. On the site you are able to play with, feed, bathe, and dress your pet. You are also able to visit/host friends and send packages & letters to friends.
The site includes chat feature that is secure & safe for children because it uses preformatted messages. Open chat is supposed to be coming out soon although filters will be in place so you will still be somewhat limited in what you can say; again this is to ensure security for children. Younger kids will need permission from parents to enable the open chat.
Additionally, there are a number of games you can play, including multiplayer games and tournaments. In addition to winning prize money playing games, you are able to do jobs & activities to earn kinzcash, which you can then use to buy items for your pet's house which you are able to build and decorate however you wish.
Webkinz and Lil'kinz are very affordable, less than $10. Because you must pay for the secret code, people are rarely willing to just give away their codes or share their account login information. Children should be discouraged by parents from every giving out their password or secret code because someone could then clean out the child's account by mailing items from the child's house &/or items bought using the child's kinzcash to the thief's account.
If you are unable to afford a Webkinz account, you might want to look into an account on a similar site that offers free accounts, like neopets.com or millsberry.com

WEBKINZ IS THE COOLEST WEBSITE EVER. You buy a stuffed animal that has a code on the tag. Then u put it on the internet on webkinz.com Then u play with ur webkinz and make a home for it andplay games. Much more too! U should buy 1 because it is fun. I have three!

They are stuffed animals. They come with a tag. On the tag, they have a secret code so you can go to webkinz.com and create an account. You play games, buy clothes, and have fun. You meet new friends. You can by it at a lot of places. There are unicorns, cats, dogs, PIGS!, PANDA!, POLAR BEAR!, horses, and rabbits. There's goose, and even more. They are really fun, and its popular right now. Its like a new trend.

It's a stuffed animal with a code on it's tag. You go to www.webkinz.com and put in the code. You will see "your webkin" appear on the screen and can play with it- walk it around etc. There will be a present for it there too. You can "earn money" by answering trivia questions in certain categories or playing games. It's an adorable toy for all ages of kids- we love to help our daughter with it. :)

I saw these things set up in a shop in the mall before Christmas. They are some kind of interactive stuffed animals - kind of like a virtual pet kind of thing.

webkins are so much fun my kids love them and so do i. My kids bought me one for christmas so i would have my own and leave the ones they have alone. This is a must have toy and they make great birthday presents because they are very cheap. you can also go to webkinz.com and take a tour it will explain everything.
