I did and I had no problems at all...my first child I had to have c-section b/c he was breech.....I had my second naturally....with no complications.....I am very glad I had the experience of both..they both are so very different from the birth to recovery...I can't say I really like one beter than the other..they were both painful...the chances are depends on your dcotors policies, and the hospital he is associated with what their policies are..with my third child I had to have c-section b/c I had had one before, plus that was what my doctors policies were..some think it is more risk to have a c-section after a vbac b/c of blood loss, some think it is safe..ask though so you are well prepared.....

Yes. As long as it is about 2 years since your c-section. I am currently considering a VBAC myself. My daughter was born by c-section 2 years ago, because she was breech. I am due with my second baby in July and I would like to try for a vaginal birth. My doctor said that there is a 1 to 2% risk of complications, though, which is making my decision a little harder. Even with that small of a chance of something going wrong, it is a scary thought. Best of luck to you.

It is possible, but most hospitals and birthing facilities wont do it because of insurance reasons. I know of a family who kind of felt "forced" into a c-section with their first baby and really wanted a natural birth with the 2nd. They ended up using a midwife and had the birth experience they wanted with no complications. They could not find a dr/hospital that would let her go vaginal after a c-section.

It is possible. You will need to find a Dr. willing to do a VBAC (vaginal birth after Cesarean). Most Dr.'s will not preform it because of the risks of a rupture/tear. If your previous C-section was up and down, rather than the "bikini cut", they will probably not preform a VBAC. If you have had a previous vaginal delivery prior to your C-section, your chances of succeeding are higher. If you have to be induced, your chances for a successful VBAC go way down. For me, the risks were just too high. The more C-sections you have, the higher the risk of a rupture. For me, my last pregnancy, I wanted to try a VBAC. We went in to be induced, as I was 41 weeks pregnant. When they went to break my bag of waters, they felt my baby's toes instead of a head. They attempted to turn her, but it was unsuccessful. I ended up having another C-section, but I was glad I did. When my Dr. got in there to get the baby out, he said there were VERY thin areas in my uterus, "paper thin" in fact. If I had attempted a vaginal delivery, I would of tore. He was glad I got the C-section as well. He said the scar tissue from my previous C-section left weak places. I have met people on-line who have attempted a VBAC and ended up losing their babies from ruptures. It could even take the mother's life. It's a HUGE decision to think about. For me, it's more important to me that this next baby is born healthy.

I am really looking forward to this Ashes series and certainly haven't completely written the Aussies off. Having said that England must go into the series as overwhelming favourites due to recent form and the fact that the series is being played in England. I reckon Chris Rogers could be a bit of a dark horse as he knows the conditions over here pretty well. Good to see some friendly banter flying around between the 2 sets of supporters too!

Yes it is possible to have a vaginal birth after a c-section, but most times you end up having another c-section.

yes it's called a vbac (vaginal birth after caesarian) the chances are 50/50 depending on the reason you had the first c-section.

Why would you want to? I had a natural birth with no medication and it hurt like hell!!! And sex takes awhile for it to return back to normal. I would've loved to just went and BAM!! it's done. Instead I went through 10 hours of torture!! I wouldn't do it, the chances of bleeding are greater.
