1/3x-2y=c

1/3x-2y=c Add 2y to both sides

1/3x = 2y + c multiply both sides by 3

x = 3 (2y + c)

x = 6y + 3c

1/3x - 2y = c

add 2y to each side

1/3x - 2y +2y = c + 2y

1/3x = c + 2y

x = 3(c + 2y) = 3c + 6y (answer)
