Use a brown or black liner, or if you are adventurous, go for orange. Otherwise just use orange tones in your shadow. Orange and blue bring out the best in eachother. Eyeliner application is dependent upon the natural eye size when trying to create a larger appearance. If you have small eyes do not line around the entire eye, this will only shrink them, however, if you have large eyes this will really make them pop. If your eyes are on the smaller side, but not tiny, I recommend very lightly lining the inside to mid lash on the top, and then making the line thicker the closer you get to the outer eye. A very thin line on the bottom in a lighter shade will finish the effect, blend the bottom line up into the lashes with your finger to ensure it isn't too thick.

I am telling you this because I have blue eyes and also even Almay has made a specific shade just for blue eyes. Use a brownish gold color. I promise you this is the best shade. You can even actually go to walmart, walgreens etc. wherever they carry Almay. Theres an eyeshadow that has 3 different shades, specifically made for blue eyes. It has a Brownish gold, a blue and a lighter blue. You supposively should put on the brown followed by the blues slightly on top, but I personally just use the brown eye shadow.
As far as you making your eyes bigger, line both the top and bottom of your eyes, but make the line on top of the eye thicker. Also with the top line you can make the outer ends point out a little such as a cat eye. I do this and always get compliments on my eyes. Good luck

Well the best coloured eyeliner to bring out your light eye colour is black. But it will look nice if you put a little bit of dark blue eye liner pencil on the botton part of your lower eye lid so it will reflect your eye color on your full complection and makeup. So if you really darken all around your eyes and in your eyes with black eye liner it will shighn up your blue eyes.
But if you want your eyes to look bigger you should put white eye liner inside the eyes between the two eye lids and you should put the black all the way and not from the middle but the way that it's much thinner in the corner of the eyes and a little thicker at the ends.

To appear larger, do not line the rim with a dark color. I don't know your eye shape, but a good one would be a dark plum on the entire lid on top, and half way from the outer corner along the lash line. Then, get a white liner, and line the inside rims. Will create the illusion of bigger eyes.
If you have more of an aqua blue eyes, try greens too.

I have blue eyes and fair skin and the best look for me is a brown/black eyeliner and lilac/light purple eyeshadow. I start the eyeliner from the outer corner, making the line thinner as I get to the inner corner. I also us a brown/black mascara. This is generally my look for the day. I do not use this 'formula' all the time because it sucks to limit myself to the same thing everyday. I absolutly use blackest black mascara for when I want to glam it up at night. The great thing about makeup is it washes off if you don't like it:)

The best way to make blue eyes pop is to use a smokey eyeliner, or black, but the key is to buy a white or silver eyeliner and line the inside of the lower eyelid with it. This make the eye pop, and takes away from the distraction of red eyes or a sleepy look. It sounds weird, but works GREAT!!

To make your eyes appear larger, you wear white eye-liner on your inner bottom lid. To make blue eyes ''pop'' I'd probably go with black eye liner, for sure. NOT brown. Not too heavy though :) Just a thin line on your top lid close to your eye lashes. And maybe some on the bottom.

i don't know about eyeliner... i use black. but light pink eye shadow compliments blue eyes (lavender for green).
to make your eyes seem bigger:
curl your eyelashes.
line your eyes as usual, but don't go all the way to the inner corners.
in the inner corner of your eye, use a white eye pencil and just put a little right in the corner.

Blue is nice. but then you tend to look a little "80's"
I like a nice grey with blue eyes. As far as making your eyes look bigger try doing just the top lid or bottom as opposed to both. Depends also on the shape of your eyes and face.

I actually had my makeup done by a MAC professional, and I had that same exact question. He said that brown eyeliner makes eyes stand out a lot more than black or lighter colors. Do not try brownish black because they just add more water solution to make it lighter. Also, brown and pink eyeshadow helps!
