i have a compaq nx6110 notebaak and wireless button it not lighting up why help?

Because your wireless card is disabled. Hit start, settings, network connections...Then right click your wireless card and hit enable. If that doesnt connect right click it and repair.

Beyond that its a router issue, or something in your tcp/ip settings.
