Ah.... wisdom takes time, and true wisdom does not just involve the outcome of your test scores and the ability to be able to answer a teacher's questions correctly. True wisdom involves being able to act wisely in difficult emotional and physical situations. An emotional situation would involve, say, a death of someone you love dearly (your mother, for example). How would you feel when faced with the death of that person? Of course, you would feel the usual feelings of grief and devastation, and in some people the urge to lock themselves away from the world. But a wise person fights on. A wise person would not isolate himself from the world, and would keep on smiling. That doesn't mean that he won't feel sad. That person would of course feel sad, but he has to stay strong, for the sake of the departed one, and the family and friends left behind.
Of course, physical situations should also be dealt with wisely, but let's not get into that. To be truly wise, stay in school (naturally) and try to be wise beyond the usual subjects of school. "Be wise beyond your years." Deal with situations in your life wisely. And keep on asking questions. Being inquistive is a natural trait in a wise person.

Reading and studying will only educate you not make you wiser. But what you should study are people. Observe the world around you an they way people react to it. To become wiser just closely observe the world around you.

You can only become wiser,in my opinion, by learning from your trials and tribulations throughput life. Those lessons learnt hold alot of wisdom. However, you cannot become wise from another man's wisdom,so don't go learning off famous quotes and saying from philosophy books. Remember everyone has knowledge, but it's the application of it that makes you wise; otherwise the knowledge you have is just a measure of cleverness, which is in turn a measure of booksense.

Well, first of all, you are asking how you can become more wise, not more wiser. Second, read, subscribe to an informative magazine like national geographic (Us does not count). What I have found to be a formidable exercise is to look at photography or art and try to find a deeper meaning to them besides the image (it helps if you are up to date on current events). Lastly, read books, for fun, not just what is required of you. I wish you luck.

Associate with a more intelligent and diverse group of people. Read and listen more/better. You can start by using correct grammar. Travel and learn about cultures first hand. Love people and lose yourself in service to them. You will be well remembered for your wisdom, kindness and sacrifice.
