only if it wears out or breaks apart. if you're debating whether or not to get one, go for the gusto. i teetered back and forth for 4 months; finally had the implant, and am back in the saddle again.
there's no worry over whether or not nature is going to cooperate. you become the energizer bunny-you can keep going and going. it made/makes me feel that life is great!

Under normal circumstances no. Unless something malfunctions, you shouldn't have to worry about it.

If you get one with the pump in your scrotum i guess you could over inflate it and blow it up ..........it would need to be replaced if that happened !
