Most white people do not actively think of themselves as white people or spend a whole lot of time being concerned with being in the majority. It is really gotten to a point where it is a non issue to be completely honest. To judge some one on race is racist. Most people are not racist. Now I am German, Scottish, Italian and Norwegian. I identify more with these than the color of my skin and I am not alone.
White brown black yellow blues, all these are colors not personality traits.
If "white" people wind up in the minority, the worst that would happen is a few extra jobs might be open exclusively for them through affirmative action.
A guy named martin Luther King had a dream about a society where people are judged by the content of their character not the color of their skin.
Ask any child if it is OK it be a racist and they will tell you plainly that it is wrong.
Martin's dream is coming to fruition
The less we look at race and the more we look at a persons soul, the better society gets.
Who cares who is in the majority, other than on election day (and the it is about republican and democrat, not black or white)

Some people feel this way because of this reasons:Whites have been in the majority in the USA from the beginning and many people are afraid of change...of someone who doesn't look like them in the majority. Fear of cultural change, demographic change, and even political change. Many whites have the sentiment that if they are in the minority, they won't have the political juice that they have now. Look at the case in South Africa. Blacks were(and always have been and still are) in the majority. European colonists wanted total control over South Africa, so the rights of blacks were severed. Whites were in control of the government. When those restrictions were lifted, South Africa elected its first black president, Nelson Mandela. Now blacks control the politics of South Africa because they are in the majority. There are fears that if minorities form the majority, minorities will become the majority in politics. Fear of losing white privilege is another fear. Most people will not speak of "white privilege", but most people know it is true. Well, for me if the Blacks, Arabs, Mexicans, "DO" take over they will do a lot better than the white rich republican white people who run the counry now. The black people ( Or so called minority people ) have been to the school of hard knocks and if in power will have compassion for their fellow Americans which means a better government over all. I'm white and I don't worry about blacks taking over. I was military and the black supervisors were great to work with. I sleep well at night.

"Tina - care to show me where you got the 67%?"

care to show us where you got "a lot of white people?" didn't you just stereotype whites? I guess if you just reword your question you can ask about a race but you can't just STEREOTYPE a race? LOL

actually it used to be 80% now its more like 67% or something like that, they are afraid because white people hold most of the power, if there is less of them they are afraid that minorities will hold most of it!!!! and i think that they are scared that if minorities come into power that we will do to them what they did to us, but that isnt right becasue not all white people do bad things!!!!! there are good and bad people in all races, i think we should take out all of those who do bad things not a race but the people themselves

I'm white and I don't mind being a minority. It would be weird, but not in a bad way. I don't see the problem that everyone's screaming about.

Clear thinking , educated, moral people are the minority..............
Race has nothing to do with it.
Don't believe everything you read.
Whites will still be in power a 100 years from now.
Things don't change that fast. History predicts.........

Cross racial unions. There will be less and less pure races. Not that there is anything wrong with it. It is just a fact.
