I honestly like Softsoap, you can buy it just about anywhere for like a buck ninety nine...my fave two scents are Shea Butter and Vanilla Brown Sugar...these smell so good! The citrus-y one is nice for the kitchen as well...the refills are a good value as they are the same price as the pump and fill it twice...
I also like the new Dove Nourishing Hand Wash, which you can get at better drug stores and grocery stores for about 4 or 5 dollars a bottle...

Read the ingredient label before purchasing liquid hand (soap) detergent. It's not considered soap because of the ingredients.
Detergents strip the oils from the skin and they contain loads of synthetic ingredients that are not safe especially when used often.
Look for a natural soap made with conditioning oils and scented with natural essential oils. They're out there.
And yes, anti bacterial products are bad.

I have always loved the hand soaps from Kiss My Face. They have great moisturizers infused so your hands don't get too dry, and they come in recognizable scents. I don't care for the ones that are too perfumy and you can't tell what the smell is supposed to be. You can usually purchase the products from Kiss My Face at natural foods places like Whole Foods or Vitamin Cottage.

I recently took a class that study anti-microbial resistence and soap is soap. Anti-Bacterial soap takes EVERYTHING off your hands, including good bacteria, that keeps us healthy. Regular soap should do the job as long as you remember to wash with warm water for atleast 20 seconds!

Just discovered the best bath and body soap. All profits go to the christopher reeves foundation, and it cleans incredibly, and smells great. It also leaves your skin feeling soft.
What can be better than smelling great and still giving to a great charity?

We use Moisturising Dial antibaterial, from Sams Club in the Huge Bottles! It is a creamy yellish gold color. Great for a bunch of lil hands under a budget.

Try bath and body in warm vanilla sugar or if you're like me inthe Winter and have dry hands try Softsoap Cashmere its a foam and it doesn't dry your hands out with a clean smell that doesn't overpower. Happy New Year!

bath and body works its only like $5 dollars
and plus its anti-bacterial with the little balls in them
and plus they have the foam soap which is really cool lol
