I've spent time in prison while visiting my husband. Although I have never been arrested or spent more than a couple of hours at a time in prison.

Conjugal visits are not allowed here in NH.
But I believe if a person is sentenced for Life, they may be able to receive conjugal visits. Each Prison and facility will have different rules and regulations.

Nope haven't spent time in prison. Don't want to anyway, but conjugal vists in prison would depend on the warden. Most wouldn't have them because of contraband being smuggled in. Also, there is a lack of privacy in prison, so a couple would have a hard time being discreet about their actions. Then, there would be the results of such a visit. A child that comes from such a visit may not be able to have that parent involved in their life or if the prisoner gets a "Dear John" letter after such a visit, that prisoners emotional health could put that person, his/her fellow inmates, & staff at risk by lashing out at the world, since the prisoner would have nothing to lose.

No, I've never spent time in prison, but conjugal visits should be banned. Prison is punishment, not a vacation.

Should be banned, but in most cases is not. They should be because prison is supposed to be PUNISHMENT! I agree with answer #3

Why should any prisoner be allowed to breed and have the working public pay for it?
