Don't drink coffee or tea anymore. Some are from dish sets, others given as gifts throughout many years. I'll keep a few but wonder what I should do with the rest - some are truly unique and I know mosaic artists use all kinds of glass/china, etc.

Coffee and tea cups can be used to make gifts. Put candles in them (or make candles in them), fill with candy, used as the container for a plant or flowers, put two together with a bag of coffee or a pack of tea or hot cocoa. You can take plastic spoons and dip them in chocolate to make "stirrers" for the cocoa or coffee to include with the cups. There are also ways to make sugar shapes for dropping in tea. Wrap the gift in celophane and ribbons, or put in a basket, tie on balloons.

A "coffee cup" is a unit of measure not related to the standard, traditional measure of fluids. Basically - it is a serving size. It is similar to the measure "wine glass" which is 4 ounces. You can occasionally run across old recipes written before 1950 that use those measurements for ingredients.

Use your extra coffee cups to make small "thinking of you", "thank you" gifts. Fill with trial or gift sized coffees or teas, and cocoas, flavored spoons, etc. Also donate to churches or organizations that have "Mom & Daughter"
teas.

Send some my way! I have tons of coffee mugs but always love more. I think I have a thing for them but yes, I do use them a lot for coffee and hot chocolate.

Ebay them as a lot, give them away to goodwill, donate them to a shelter of some sort. Fill with goodies and give away as "just because gifts".

Give them to the Good Will or other charity so that others can enjoy them too. Have a great year.

Freecycle them. There are lots of people who collect things like that. There are needy people who have none.
