Yep, but it can be confusing if you haven't settled in your orientation.

It is possible, yes, and still be straight. The test whether these thoughts/feelings go any further is; how long do you ponder over a good looking guy? Everyone can appreciate a good looking person of either sex whatever their sexual preference. I'm gay, I can appreciate a good looking woman, but not have sexual thoughts about her, and don't think about it for long at all, perhaps I see a fit fella behind her, lol...
If you find yourself thinking for too long about a particular guy in front of you, you could perhaps be at the beginning to a change in your sexuality. It may not be sexual meanings just yet, time will tell. From my own experience, I fancied girls etc up until about 12, and had never thought before about boys. Being gay was something which gradually creeped up on me, it took a while to work out. If you stay straight, so what? You can appreciate a good looking guy. Don't worry about it, it shows you are more in touch with humanity, its a good thing :)

I'm much the same way as you are. I can say that a certain actress/singer/whoever is pretty, but I don't have a sexual attraction. Nor do I scope out women on the street like I do men. Would I have sex with a woman or kiss one? No, because it wouldn't be something that would "come naturally" to me, just as someone gay or lesbian would kiss or have sex with someone of the opposite gender because it wouldn't come natural to them.
Basically, you're appreciating your own gender from an aesthetic point of view but not a sexual one. There's nothing wrong with that and you're not in the closet.

Hum. I’ve been straight my whole life, but last year (at the age of 33) kissed my first girl. At that time I did not really imagined myself having sex with her, but that was really fun. I cannot kiss any girls; she might be special (very alternative as I am). Nowadays I am more open to new relationships, and I realized that I am really found of feminine guys (males). It is very funny how I haven’t admitted to myself my true taste in men. All this years I accepted the obviously masculine male partner as my ideal partner. I really believed that I would be happy being with this “ideal man” (masculine male), however I realized that I had never been happy or felt complete with them…. Sometimes deep in our heart we know exactly with whom we would like to be, but we prefer to ignore it and start to behave like everybody else. However, every person is different and has the right for having different tastes, but a certain “homogenization of behaviour” is expected from us social beings ... Do not think of heterosexuality and homosexuality as being two opposite things, you do not have to close your mind and choose sides now. Besides that, there is always the path of bisexuality… Do not convict you to receive a certain stigma before you really have more experiences.
Be open to new relationships if they will be just hugs or kisses…. Does it really matter?
I do not think so, knowing yourself and the possibilities of being happy are what really matters. Be happy!

It's quite possible to be 'straight' - the main thing about sexuality is it's all about varying levels of attraction and where you feel comfortable taking those levels of attraction. Therefore finding men sexy, but not necessarily wanting to have sex with them is perfectly honest and natural. Good luck to you that's what I say!!

yeah, it's rubbish how straight guys cant acknowledge that other guys are good looking. but i have no idea why. straight girls are free to comment on other girls without fear that they may be gay. i often think women are very beautiful, i am an artist and find the most attractive naked form to paint is female. but i know that i'm straight.
all a man has to do is order a tia maria at the bar and all of a sudden he's homosexual, never mind commenting on another mans appearance.
fight it! challenge these horrible stereotypes, make war with those who strive to pigeonhole us! let's start a revolution...

Of course you can. You find certain paintings nice looking yet you don't want to sleep with them right? You find certain animals nice looking and cute but you don't want to sleep with them do you? Why should it be any different for your gender? Anyone that cannot identify a nice looking person of their own sex is lying.

Sure! I think plenty of girls are quite attractive but I am straight. Seriously, girls are fun to look at for me so I cannot imagine why some guys wouldn't feel the same way about other men. I don't desire any of the girls I find attractive, I just appreciate their beauty/style/looks...whatever draws my attention to them.

Why not? If another woman is gorgeous I'd say so, so I don't think it would be any different for a man. I've never fancied another woman either and have never met one I'd have sex with - doesn't stop me from saying if they're good looking or not.

Guess that with most terms like this, straight and gay are all relative, really. Simple answer is, do you want to get into a physical relationship with another bloke?
Just because you can see that a bloke is good looking doesnt mean you are gay though, merely not blind.

yes you can be straight and find guys goodlooking. there is a range of sexuality and some people fall on either end but most are somewhere in between. What you are experiencing is normal. don't worry about it.
