OMG i forgot all about Amityville Horror!! im not sure of its release date but the dvd was out in '06. trash. ryan reynolds body is amazing tho.

When a stanger calls, I didn't see the original but the the 1979 version had to been better than the new one! The movie sucked! 75% of the time the guy wasn't even saying anything on the phone, he was just calling and not saying anything and Jill is running around like a retard. the last 25% was when she found out the call was coming from the house and she is running with the kids, the police catches the guy and she finally sees the guys face which wasn't scary,and she ends up in the hospital. It was very, very retarded! Amityville Horror was pretty stupid too.

It had the little troll Jimmy Bennet in it. The freakin' re-make king!
He was also in The Amityville Horror. Just kidding. He's a great actor! I actually loved that movie. It was so damn funny!
I couldn't stand The Omen. I fell asleep five times! It was so boring.
Miami Vice also sucked. I thought Jamie Fox could have done better, along with Colin Ferrel.
I didn't get to see X-Men 3 yet.

I thought Poseidon was a good movie. But it is odd how it's a re-remake. I liked the first remake better.
X-Men....well, I was expecting a little more than that!
Yes! Everyone keeps telling me how much better the remake of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was. I don't think so. The original Willy Wonka was much better. I have to admit though, the scenes with oompa loompa songs were good in the remake.

I hated The Omen! I did not enjoy Charlie and The Chocolate Factory at all and I couldn't even bring myself to watch more than 20 minutes or so of Miami Vice. And I agree with dude who asked about The Dukes of Hazzard. I don't remember if it was 05 or 06 but it sucked. I couldn't watch that either.

A re-make is a movie which is done again, based on the same sources.
Thus, the third X-Men movie (which was awful, in my opinion) does not qualify: it's a sequel, if you wish, not a re-make.
The Omen. The original one is not a masterpiece, but at least it's watchable. The new one was a steaming pile of poo.

Was Dukes of Hazzard in 2006? If so, it gets my vote - if not, put it down for 2005
blech.
XMen wasn't really a remake and judging by it's box office $, I couldn't classify it as bad...

the hills have Eyes was the worst, I did not see Poseidon. but
I was very disappointed in the hills have eyes I just saw the Remake of Black Christmas I liked that one

I liked them all.
But if I had to pick I would say X-Men.
And I'm going to agree Charlie and The Chocolate Factory... SUCKED
The original was so much better.
