Does anyone know of a way that a stay at home mom can earn extra money, without it being a get rich scheme?

I've heard all about these "get rich quick" schemes, the envelope stuffing, etc. I want to know if there is something legitimate, that can be done from home to earn some extra money, or does such a thing even exist?

the survey stuff (cashcrate, etc) are all scams, dont fall for it. You'll end up paying out of your own pocket and spending way more than you'll make (if you make anything at all). You can try making jewelry and selling it or cards for different occasions. Card making is not very expensive (it can be or it can't be), and people love one of a kind cards. You can try babysitting in your home or pet sitting. I have never heard anything negative about the envelope stuffing, but I do think you have to sign up for some sort of company and pay them to work for them. You can also offer to type letters for different companies around your home. Those are just a few idea's.

There is nothing easy to do online. Every business costs money to start up, and with all the marketing that has to be done, it's difficult. I tried a business and found that many people were posting 1500 ads a piece on various ad pages. How does one person combat all those ads. If ten people placed 1500 ads a piece, that's 15000 ads. I ended up just resigning. Surveys say they will pay you money, but I know for a fact that is a lie, too. The best thing to do if you want extra money is to go to work yourself.

Have you looked into doing direct sales? The direct sales industry is climbing the charts and more and more women are deciding to join with companies in the in-home party business. I personally, chose to join Sensaria. We sell naturally-base spa products and I chose to do it because of the great people, products I loved so much, and because I didn't feel obligated at my spa experience to join. Which is what I love so greatly about this company...They're not about recruiting, just showing today's busy women how to take care of themselves. Think of a type of product you'd like to sell and do your reasearch on that company and it's competitors. Follow your heart, and go with what you love the most about their products. That's the best way to sell. Honestly, don't join a company if you're not 110% in love with the products you'll have a difficult time selling. I hope I helped.
