Joe C. Why not have sex when pregnant?? I had sex up until my children were born. There is nothing wrong with having sex while pregnant. It can be therapeutic for the mother. As far as bleeding while having sex, that is normal. There is a lot of changes going on in your body. If you are really concerned go to the ER. Or ask your doc. about it at your next appointment. I am sure they will confirm that it is normal. Good Luck

A little spotting can be normal, bleeding is not. You should go to the doctor, if you don't have a doctor yet you should go to the emergency room. Bleeding for 3 days in a row should definitely be checked out.

Are you bleeding heavy? If its just a spotting kind of thing and its dark, not bright red then its probably okay, and if you don't have severe cramping. Does it happen shortly after intercourse? I bled for at least my 1st eight weeks and my doctor said its very common. Some women even have a normal period all 9 months!! You can call your doctor for reassurance but it sounds like everything is okay, just take it easy!!!!

I bleed during my first 5 months of pregnancy-----most people say its not normal but my doctor told me that its more normal than what people think. If u have light bleeding like only when u wipe then its ok--and as long as there is no cramping involved...if u start bleeding alot liek when u pee and stuff go to the emergenmcy room-----just pray on it u will be ok...

Call your doctor as soon as possible. You could have previa. I had previa, and was very active, even during the pregnancy i went about my day doing what i had to do, but was just a little more cautious about doing it. Call your doctor, and get in there! Try not to be very active, until your doctor oks you to do so. (previa is where the placenta covers the cervix and bleeding can occur) Check with your doctor.

See your doctor immediately. This happened to me when I was around 3 months, and I was miscarrying. Luckily, we caught it in time and after a little bed rest, I went on to deliver a beautiful little girl. It could have ended badly, so see your doctor as soon as possible.

It could be nothing, but it could also be a miscarriage. I would consult your doctor or midwife to be sure. If it is a miscarriage you may need a d&c at 3 months.
