NO, I have never been an alcoholic becasue it is very bad for you liver and could cause a painful death. But, I do have a drink once in a while. Have been drunk once or twice.

I used to work on cruise ships so I came dam near close!
That's not a joke or a jibe against true full fledged alcoholics. If you have never been in that situation you could never know what I am talking about. A lot of the time there is NOTHING else to do but drink. You try living in a 8 x 10 room with another person where the bar has beer at $1 a bottle/can and mixed drinks are $1.25. It's a very social environment where you live with the people you work with and after a long period of time it gets to you.

once an alcoholic u always are one you might not drinking but still you still want it. i am an alcoholic i use to love to drink but i know it is bad so i don't do it. but oh god would i love to have a drink right now.

I was back in 83, then again in 88... a few times in 93 and again in 2007
but its's ok IM BETTER NOW
