Please read this in it's entirety:

- The only occasions on which I could have gotten pregnant would have been the end of July, and the end of August, and the beginging of September, with the last possible time being on Labor Day.

- I have had regular periods every month, with the exception of July being very light, however I had taken ECP that month.

- I have noticed no pregnancy symptoms, except for that my stomach is getting larger and I have had digestive problems (constipation and bloating) - since September/October. I now am convinced I am feeling fetal movement

- I have taken about 5 pregnancy tests between July and November, all negative.

- I went to the gynocologist for an annual exam in November... they did not do a pregnancy test just a normal exam. Wouldn't he have been able to tell?

I am so confused. Any suggestions appreciated!

It is possible to convince yourself you are pregnant and feel suymptoms, and phantom fetal movement. The mind is a powerful thing. I wonder why you are so obsessed with it? Your Dr. should be able to tell if you are pregnant by physical exam, because your uterus is enlarged, also when doing a pelvic exam he would notice a color change in your vagina that happens during pregnancy. You have taken 5 tests. You need to accept that you are not pregnant. If you cannot, go to the Dr, have them do a blood test to put your mind at ease. If you still cannot let it go, think about seeing a therapist. I am not being mean, but this has been going on for months and it is unhealthy to have such delusions. Any time you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant. But it sounds like you are in the clear, get on with your life.

You are not pregnant. I you have taken 5 home tests and are still having regular periods then why are still worried about being pregnant. The doctors should definitely have been able to tell when you went if you were pregnant. It sounds like you may have some kind of digestive ailment, which could account for the bloating, constipation, and wierd abdominal sensations. You should go to your doctor, either your ob or a gp and tell them your concerns and they can rule out a pregnancy 100% with a blood test or an ultrasound and then they can get to the root of your digestive troubles.

Yes your GYN would have been able to tell during a physical exam in November if you were pregnant. Sounds like you are having irritable bowel syndrome or some other gastric problem. Try increasing your fiber intake.

I am almost certian you r not pregnant, since you have had 5 negative pregnancy tests AND had normal periods in October and November (well after you last had intercourse) AND since your gyn did not detect pregnancy during your GYN exam.

What you think may be fetal movement probably is gas, which is common with irritable bowel syndrome. I would DEFINTELY see the doctor and tell them your concerns, and have them do a qualitative hcg blood test to rule out pregnancy. Also see an internist or regular doctor about the stomach problems.

I got pregnant at the end of July and my doctor would have definately been able to tell if I was pregnant if my exam was in November. There might be something else going on with your body, so I would go see your doctor anyway and let them know. It could be pregnancy, but it could be something else that they would be able to detect so just give your doctor a call. I'm 25 weeks pregnant now and it's pretty obvious I'm pregnant (and I didn't start showing till quite late.) My stomach is as hard as a rock and has been for quite some time.

i got preg in thae september time frame and it took quite a while to get a posittive result sometimes a normal exam is the way to go the cervix turns blue and a trained eye will notice this factor but many overlook this i had a bleeding episode also some pregnancies are virtually symptomless (lucky dog) fetal movemant is commonly mistaken but i think you would know trust you're heart and you will get youre answers soon!! god bless you!! not to argue but someone said you can never geta false negative result on a preg test WRONG false negatives are far more common than a false positive result just fyi

If you had your annual exam yes he would of been able to tell. Constipation and bloating will cause your abdomen to enlarge. You can get a false positive on a pregnancy test but never a false negative. I would say no you are not pregnant.

It seems remote that you're pregnant, however if you really feel that you may be pregnant, ask the doctor for a blood pregnancy test. That will be your best bet, also explain the symptoms to your doctor to see if it could be indicitave of something else wrong with your body. Good Luck!

EPT tests are very accurate.. they detect pregnancy hormones to a very minute degree...if you dont believe the results...it may be a sign of some psychological problem... that dosent mean that you are crazy...alot of times... just talking to a psychologist can help relieve anxiety about alot of things, and the psychologist is sworn to secrecy... also alot of religious figures like priests and pastors will talk to you about your problems... that sounds so uncool to alot of people, but when you need help... it is a godsend
