I THINK FRANK GORE OF 49ERS

The entire offensive line of the Indianapolis Colts. All you ever hear about is Manning and Harrison. They would be nothing if they didn't get time to throw.

While I agree with you that Gore is underrated, he does get some publicity. I have seen several references to him on national broadcasts. I would say the whole 49ers team is underrated because I think they could be a force next year. But, by far, Walt Harris is the most underrated player on that team. He is tied for 3rd with most interceptions in the NFL and has really solidified the 49ers pass defense which has been horrible in past years.

I would say probably Micheal Turner from the Chargers, Only because of Tomlinson being all the hype around the NFL this year such as being on top of the MVP controversy this year. Most people forget how good Turner really is, and how he could start for more then half of the other teams in the NFL.

The most underrated player of the game is a probably a player waiting on the bench for his turn to play. Just this Sunday I saw an instance of this. I don't remember what team it was, but they played their 3rd string QB (Quinn was his name I think) on the 1st drive of his career he threw 2 15+ passes and ran for a TD. On the 2nd he played almost exactly the same as the 1st. I said all that to say this, there is no telling who the most underrated player is, we probably don't even know his name.

I nominate receivers Devery Henderson, Marques Colston and Terrance Copper, and halfback Deuce McAllister of the New Orleans Saints.

Lance Briggs he is a really good linebacker but with Urlacher getting all the attention its kind of hard to get recongnized. He has the same amount of tackles as Urlacher and is just as valuable
