Believe it or not, we only use a portion of our brain's strength. we are so much more capable, but have lost the interest along the way, as the life became more easier with the new technologies e.g. computers; we tend to use our brains even less.

you pretty much stop producing them after the age of 18, after that they begin to die but there are other variables as to the rate of the decrease i.e. drug use
