County Tipperary is in the Republic of Ireland, and it's a long, thinnish kind of a county, and quite far south, but inland. For administration purposes it's divided into two sections, Tipperary North and Tipperary South Riding. Clonmel is the main town in the South, but there is a Tipperary town also.
