How much money do equinologist make and how hard is it to get into that field?

Equinologist study horses, and i want to work with horses. But i don't know how much they make and how to get into the field. So can someone plz help!!

i dont want to be a vet because i cant stand the sight of blood

I know a couple of them (I do some volunteer work for the rodeo circuit). You should go to school and get your DVM (become a vet) with a specialty in livestock/horses. It provides a really good living doing something really fun that you'll love. Its much easier to break into the field as a vet, and good horse vets can be fairly hard to find. Lack of people in the field means you make more.
