How do you know if you are convincing yourself to love someone?

it's hard, but u can tell in the end.. if u are constantly giving Excuses..if u have a sinking sensation that things aren't "right"... that u have to keep Explaining and Explaining that something needs to change, u keep giving them benefit of the doubt, but it's just not good enough... =T

the thing is, a relationship needs to be VOLUNTARY: and that means, u Choose to be with this person. hopefully this will be a Joyful decision, easy. but if it's hard, if ur forcing urself, if ur constantly defending this person, if u are embarrassed, etc etc (pretty much Anything negative), u have a hard time on ur hands!

a good relationship will produce Positive feelings in ur life. look for that, and it will lead u to even better things... not just relationships, but family, friends, life, learning, everything.

When you're NOT convincing yourself to fall for someone, you don't feel the need to post it as a question. That's how you know.

If you find flaws in everything they do, then you probably don't love that person. Falling in love with someone is something that you pretty much don't have control over. When you are in love, and you say that you love that person, if you are really in love, it doesn't feel like saying "I love you" is enough to express how you feel. If you find yourself pitying that person, you are trying to convince yourself to love him/her. If you have to ask, you probably are not in love.
