the respond is truthfully fairly elementary. the those that make and enforce the regulations are those that are practising that comparable bigotry. As a pagan indoors the right Valley of California I surely have first hand adventure with that, and it extends some distance some distance previous the interior attain factor. It extends each and each and each and each of techniques as much as each and each factor of Govenrment, regulation enforcement and judicial structures. it fairly is the comparable phenomenon that have been given right here approximately indoors the Southern US the situation it took some generations to weed out optimal of those that upheld the ideals of racial bigorty from influencial positions (regardless of the undeniable fact that there are however some wallet the situation it continues to be a controversy). that's what they have been taught for generations and it wasn't till it grew to regulate into to complicated to bypass on that it lessened. regrettably, with the aid of nature and effect of the religions that prepare religious bigotry, the comparable is basically no longer obtainable for this concern, and any attempt to project that schedule will basically land the guy in better worry than they could good purchase for.

Yes ! Our freedom of religion is really freedom from state sponsored religion. Some may carry things a bit far tho. Man has long found many gods to worship. The Egyptians were the first to declare that there was only one god ... the sun. Akenaten, did away with the Egyptian collection of gods and taught a monotheistic religion throughout the land.

USA Today notes that if "Goode is worried about Muslim immigrants, he's about 260 years too late in Ellison's case," since "Ellison traces his ancestors to Louisiana in 1742."

Absolutely not! Virgil Goode is a real MAN who actually stands up for what he believes, unlike so many politicians who only say what they think their constituents want to hear. Goode represents a lot of people in America who believe that our Judeo-Christian foundation is what made our country great and do not want to see it decline. To be perfectly honest, Islam is a perfect representative of the ugly face of religious and political bigotry. It is very interesting that American Muslims are the first to cry bigotry when they are part of a religion that is tolerant of almost no one. They should be more concerned with denouncing the barbaric acts of so many of their fellow Muslims than crying about the words of one man. But do any Muslims denounce Bin Laden, Ahmadinejad and the like? I've never heard any strong words against them from a Muslim. So should we be wary of Muslims taking office in America? Yes, I think so.

It could be he feels repulsed by the persona of Islam.

It seems to me with 1.8 billion members in the religion of peace they would have the resources to correct this image issue other than defending it.

Unless the United Islamic Voice agrees with the Islam-O-fascist. They should step up to the plate on this issue and fix the problem.

Wow you can throw all the stones you want Humanist, but when one man (Albeit a Congressman) speaks his mind (I also believe this story is completely out of context with what he truly said and meant, since it's written by a couple of liberal biased newspapers.) you throw stones at him.

Edit: And why are all Muslims using a book narrated by Mohammed and not the real holy book the Torah?

Ruth is right on the money. Anybody familiar with the teachings of the Koran knows that the Muslim faith is one of the least tolerant religions that exists. According to the Koran and the teachings of many Muslim leaders, all non-Muslim must be either converted, subjugated, or killed. These are the only options.

Goode attacked another Congressman for being a Muslim, and that in itself is scary. Yes, he's a bigot, and does NOT deserve to hold public office.

Ruth: Asking to use the Qur'an to swear the Oath of Office is not radical extremism. You and your ilk make a very bad name for the rest of us Americans who don't care what religion an elected official belongs to as long as they uphold the Constitution and truly represent their constituents. If you'd rather have someone swear their allegiance to the Bible and your version of Christianity, then go institute a theocracy somewhere else. This is the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave, and We the People don't have to take fascist crap like that from the likes of you.

Ruth says only Radical Muslims are capable of extreme "Religious and Political Bigotry", so thats us told. Thank God for the Religious Right, huh? They'll save us all from the these scum sucking Islamist low-lifes by wiping them all from the face of the Earth. And it probably says they have to do that in Bible somewhere....

EDIT: Bunch of you sure read a lot into my answer. Maybe you are the true face of bigotry.

Named after the great "Christianized" Roman poet....or is he the guide to Hell and Purgatory(Dante's "The Divine Comedy")?
