windows just sits there....?

Question

i just swapped out a motherboard on a P.O.S. and it seems to just hang sometimes for no reason. I tll it to do something(like open explorer) and it sits for a good 30 secs before finally opening. WTF?

If you swapped out your motherboard WITHOUT re-installing Windows first, that's why. It would be like a brain transplant to a human. It's discombobulated. You will need to reinstall the operating system.
