They are particularly strong, and my glasses were actually knocked off my face. I wasn't completely "there", either, but I was still "there" enough to notice just how much force was put into the movement. It was not just this certain cat, either, because then I tried it with my own house cat and again, it was swift and strong. Just a weird observation I guess... :)

yeah cats are strong creatures. Be glad you don't have a lion instead...or a tiger.
They are in the cat family you know, and that means they are usually strong. They could utimately kill a bunny rabbit or a rat.

Yeah, once. My cat, Misty, whacked me in the face which resulted in getting her claws stuck in my hair and with scratch marks on the area near my eye.
