its tough, but I would say Vince Young. The main reason is, let's face the facts, Tenn was not suppose to be any good at all this year. Vince Young wasn't even suppose to play this year, he was considered a 'project'. Without Vince, that team would of battled Detroit and Oakland for the #1 pick in the draft all year long. Instead, he got them into the playoff picture with some of the most clutch performances of the year for anyone, let alone a rookie!

From the names mentioned it should be Vince Young. He took over as starter with a team that was 0-5 and almost took them to the play-offs and that's a rookie. So he went 9-2 as a starter against a tough division. Many of the wins were due only to his pure talent and ability to avoid tacklers and make spectacular plays. The others you mention al have strong supporting cats around them, in New Orleans case you have 2 listed plus Brees, McAllister, etc. Th one name you didn;t mention was Devon Hester from the Bears. He set an all-time record for kick returns for a TD this season and at least twice if not 3 times won the game for the Bears with his return(s). Stay with Young though.

You have to look at numbers. It is not most valuable rookie, cause if it was then Vince Young would win due to his role and his ability to keep his team in the game. Colston Had over 1000 yards receiving and 8 touchdowns. He was consistent all year and made big plays for his QB and should be MVP Drew Brees. I have to give the nudge to Colston.

Vince Young.
But Reggie is a close second.
But you gotta give it to Vince, he's the QB of a team that was struggling, and he took them towards more wins than they would have had without him. Without Vince at QB, Tennessee would be fighting Oakland for the #1 pick in next years draft.
Without Reggie, New Orleans would still be a decent squad.

Marcus Colston....A rookie receiver with 1000 yards missing 2 games with other 3 great receivers on his team. Definately deserves it.

I think Joseph Addai on the colts. He's pretty talented. Like other colts players. I think he was overlooked. He just got an award for rookie with the most touchdowns or something like that. Gotta give it to him he can play football
