I have a 2005 Trailblazer with only 50,000 miles. When I let off of the gas, the headlights get dim and then back to regular. It does this over and over( dim, regular, dim, regular, etc.). What is the problem ?

Your battery may be failing and the difference in you headlights is because the alternator is running them.

you are simply "borrowing" a little juice. it is an alternator issue but not one you need to address right now unless you notice any other problems. this could also happen with aftermarket headlight bulbs...in which case you might want to switch back. otherwise don't worry about it

Make sure that you have a good secondary negative wire going from the negative battery post to the body of the vehicle...
