You know that girls are always spending hundreds, sometimes thousands of dollars on designer handbags, clothes, shoes...but do you really notice a girl if shes carrying a Louis Vuitton bag and can you tell the differance between Levi jeans and Abercrombie? I'm just curious. Do you think girls do it to impress guys or is it more of a "status" thing? I guess I'm a hypocrite, I have spent quite a bit on designer handbags and clothes. But in the end, is it really worth it? When half the time, people don't even know what it is or who made it?

I spend alot of clothes. But I won't spend a ton on shoes or purses. I love my Chucks and they're just $30 something dollars a pair. My mom has a Gucci and a Coach, but I have a raggedly corduroy purse from Levis. I think LV purses are over. They're overdone. My main purse is my JanSport backpack. I would love to get a Chanel bag one day, when I have an extra $1000 to spend. Yes, I can tell the difference between Levis and Abercrombie. They're both good jeans, though I prefer Levis. I don't necessarily go for designer brands, I just buy what I think is cute and unique. I do it for myself. It is worth it. People might not know I spent $100 on those jeans, but they sure look good. I like to dress nice, but I don't go overboard. I love to shop at The Galleria mall and thrift/vintage stores!

on certain things i think it is paying the extra money. once you are done growing, i believe in spending a lot on nice pair of jeans, not as much for the name of the company, but for the quality. i feel the same way about handbags and shoes that are very classic and will last a while. i have a Coach bag and i'll have it forever. i think i partially bought it because it was a coach purse, and also because i liked it. some girls i know just buy Abercrombie clothes to impress the girls who have a higher social-status. as for the guys, i dont' really think they care at all.

yeah! bags are expensive but it is usually brand and quality problems... some people feel better wearing a channel or prada hand bag that cost a thousands of money it makes them fell high class and make them gain confident that people would give them compliments but not insults. and yes. girls do spend money to on cloths cuz brand cloths do have some taste~ and because of that they think it will attract guys. no there is no difference between abercrombie and levi but the real different is how you feel on those jeans . jeans are jeans there are no difference EXCEPT THERE intricate designs.

I really don't care if anything is designer or how much it costs. It better if it's cheaper. Aslong as it's good quality and i like it, i'll buy it. Even if it's expensive, if I like it and know i'll wear it,i'll buy it. Accually, if i see someone carrying a louis Vuitton bag my first though is that she's a snobby little rich girl. Most people don't even know many designers

I dont really care how much girls pay for their bags as long as they look good but you can get your very own designer bag from http://urlx.org/directtrack.com/6809f . Gucci, Ferragamo, Prada, Or Dolce & Gabbana , choose any one of those and you will recieve them for free. All you have to do is fill out the survey. My girlfriend got her bag from that site and all she had to do was choose the bag she wanted and enter in her email address.

names, brands, and all of that don't matter as long as it looks good. As a matter of fact I know that if I see a girl with a Louis Vuitton bag I have a tendancy to see a high maintenance girl, something that I defenetly stay away from.

Most people don't know what a designer bag is but the important thing is that I do and that's all that matters when I carry my Burberry purse around and protect it with my life.

well i do wear alot of abercrombie and people notice it but probaly because i really only wear that
in the end i don't realy think it matters
if u like ur clothes it shouldn't matter where u buy them or how much they cost

niwayz i dont think sooo tht all the gals do it to impress guys or sumthing like tht.Ofcourse there r gals who do it for tht reason too... but i think its in d gals genes to have an urge to look good to feel good to look attractive to attract attention nd for tht purpose they can go to ni extent!!!!
nd they dont mind spending those extraaaa bucks!!!!!

I can't tell the difference. If it looks good, it is good, whether it cost $200 or $20.
