how can i publish a comic book??

first try to get a fan base and even a website because if u go to a publisher with just a comic then ur pretty much scrwed

There are ways to "vanity" publish the comic through certain printers, you pay to be published, then you must sell the book yourself (or with some assistance from the publisher).

You might want to give part of it away on line to get feedback and see if there is interest in your comic book.

Another way would be able to sell it would be to take a table in "artist" alley (a section of most comic book conventions where the arists and small press have their table). This could lead to feedback and maybe investors or at least advice.

To get the $$$$ needed to self-publish you could get a group of investors to put up the money, but you must be wary, if it hits big they may want a cut of your action, and if it flops you could lose friends.

If I was in your shoes I'd print up a small run of the comics on my dime and hawk them on line and at cons to feel out the waters first.
