Anytime between 7-17 months is considered normal for walking. Actually using a walker may slow his progress.

Some babies don't walk until later. If he is using his legs to push and can move in the walker I don't think there is anything to worry about. My daughter did not walk until she was eight-teen months old. I took her to doctors because I was concerned. She used a walker she pulled up to the couch but would never let go. On the day before she was to be admitted to the hospital for neurological testing. I was in my kitchen she was playing on the floor. She pulled herself up and took two steps by herself.. After that there was no stopping her. She had a normal happy childhood. This year she will graduated high school.

That is normal. my first 2 sons didnt start walking until a few days after their birthdays and my 3rd son started walking at around 15 months. There is no need for concern until they are older than 18 months. Every child is different and yours is completely normal. Just keep working with him outside the walker.

My daughter didn't walk until she was 13 months, so don't worry. All babies develop differently and at different paces. Try to give him more time outside the walker, let him practice standing on his own, let him practice falling down and getting himself back up. Just give him more chances to try and be patient. My daughter would only take one step at a time for two months, it was so frustrating when she would stop or sit down after one step, but she got it eventually.

he is fine and right on track. there is nothing that says at exactly 12 months they will magically stand up and walk around and talk!!
honestly, i understand the desire to see your little one grow and change and develop. i just got so excited when my little guy rolled over for the first time. however, we need to just let their milestones happen when they happen.
do you give him enough time standing freely outside of the walker??
i remember when my neice first started walking....
2 people would sit facing each other a few feet apart.
then, one holds the baby up and helps them "walk" to the other person. baby might only take one or two steps without someone holding onto them. then, you just go from there.
also, do you ever let him walk while your hold his arms or hands??? this helps them practice!!
take care:)

Don't worry... he's right on schedule. As the mother of four children (12,7,5, and 2) I can tell you that they all develop at different rates. My oldest walked at 10 mos but didn't talk til he was 3. My 7 yr old was saying words by 9 mos but didn't walk til her first birthday. My 5 yr old said words around a year but didn't walk til he was 17 months old (I think he just liked having me carry him around like a servant). My two yr old seems to have been talking most of her life and walked at 13 months. They were all very different and I'm glad because it kept me from comparing them to one another.

Its early for them still, I would think it more weird if they WERE talkign and walking at this early age. Give them time all babies are different. Just make sure to spend as much time around him as possible and talk to them constantly, dont carry him as often as you may be carrying him, keep him in his walker alot but not too much, he should learn how to stand on his own, so dont keep him in there too much but he should be in there for atleast 2 or 3 hours a day, and play with them alot. =^-^=

it is very normal for a 11 month old to not or talk. He will be a thinker i bet. I would let him spend more tummy time and i have also read that the more time a baby stays on the floor the bettter the hand -eye coordination and therefore they are better readers

Please get rid of the walker. Throw it out. There are so many injuries each year from walkers and other options so he can stand and jump but not move.
Exersaucer and Jumparoo are some nice options or you can hold his arms and let him walk while supporting him. Babies develop on their own pace.
