I got negative pregnancy tests for the first two months of my first pregnancy, only a blood test came back positive. Worrying about being pregnant can make your period late, not helpful though. I always became extremely exhausted when I first got pregnant and told everybody I was coming down with something. I said that this October and my husband brought home a pregnancy test, I laughed and took it to be funny. It came up positive.
If you think you are pregnant, act as though you are (no drinking, or anything) and make an appointment. The urine test in the Dr's office is not really all that much more sensitive but if you can't get a positive, they can give you a blood test.
Good luck

Almost anything can be a symptom of pregnancy, truth be told - it varies so much from woman to woman. For me, my nose itched from the very beginning. I've only heard of one other person who had that, though. Everything that everyone else mentioned, plus darkening of your areolas, faster hair and fingernail growth, food cravings or aversions, mood swings, fatigue...really, anything goes.

If you're nine days late, any home pregnancy test *should* have given you a positive if you are pregnant, though - unless the test itself was defective. (Most tests are 99% accurate on the day your period is due, and any of them should be 100% accurate by now.) Stress and illness can cause your cycle to be longer than usual...if you're concerned, give your OB/GYN a call. Good luck!
