why do friends come & go?

The older you get, the more you change. Your different needs require different people. Perhaps it's that you've outgrown certain friends. What you thought you had in common when you were younger you don't have now that you've matured. It's the way of life. Things just happen like that.

Imagine life with only meeting your mom. How would this relationship be? Would it fulfill your wants and needs? What would be fulfilling and what would you yearn for?

Now imagine your life with keeping every friend you ever meet. You'd have the babies in the hospital that you originally meet with the many nurses. Add onto this all the kids from school (kindergarten - whenever). You'd have to give each equal amounts of love and affection. OMG --- if you were a celebrity or a President --- imagine how many ppl you'd have to spend quality time with if you kept each and every friend you encountered.

In short, friends are to enrich our lives; for us to teach and for us to learn --- then we get to go about our lives and spread the goodness we've learned along the way from past friends. BEWARE of those who will only share the pain they've received --- for they exist --- don't be fooled!!!

Marriage is the unique friendship where we commit to remain with the one special friend by sharing our body, mind, & spirit. Challenging since it doesn't always fulfill us --- but without it, we're empty. It's when within the marriage that the two individuals together accept the growing differences each has and learn to accommodate each other through sacrifice that we see the glow of this everlasting friendship.

why do friends come and go. that is a good question.well here is why i think friends come and go. TRUE friends are like diamonds faithful and rare,FALSE friends are like autumn leaves found everywhere. when someone is a true friend you can tell. they want the best for you and they support you in every way possible. false friends are only there to know stuff about you so that when they stop bein your friend they can have something to say behind your back. in some cases it's not like that. in some cases it's the movement maybe you had a friend that you guys were growing from you were small. but you got older and you both grew apart from each other.

1. People simply grow apart
2. They were never your friend to begin with though you thought they were.
3. They were never your friend to begin with though they thought they were.
4. People don't realize that being a real friend is hard work and don't have the skills or energy to put forth the effort.
