yes it would, this is a very popular question ("does it make a sound") the answer is yes because the definition of sound is mechanical vibrations transmitted through an elastic medium, traveling in air at a speed of approximately 1087 ft. (331 m) per second at sea level. so, it WOULD make a SOUND but no one except you and your mom in this case, would here it :). make sense?
