I had issues in the past with my cell phone battery... I went to go buy another because it was not holding a charge for more then 4 hours.. I did some research and found out that you need to let your phone totally die out before you recharge it .... do not recharge just because it says low battery...... now the charge on my phone lasts at least 2 full days! just depends on how much you talk on it .....

Turn your phone off over night if you aren't using it. Do not overcharge it. Most phones come with rapid chargers now and should be fully charged within 2-3 hours. Try to not charge it over night. I've seen batteries swell up so bad from people overcharging them that their only option is to buy a new one. Do a deep cycle discharge every few months.

Turn the phone off at night and when your not using it. Never charge the battery until it's nearly dead. When you do charge it, charge it ALL THE WAY. Don't just ''get enough into it for now.''

Turn down the volume on your ringtone and turnoff vibrate.
Lock your keys so that you don't reactivate the phones backlight accidently.
If you will be using it constantly througout the day for texting or emails try changing your backlight settings so it is dimmer or turns off more quickly.

many things can help preserve battery, such as limiting the time the back-light stays on, use shorter ring-tones none of that fancy ring tones (just use a basic ring tone, don't play games on your phone, don't talk for hours at a time.
