Fact or fiction?
'The Lost World' by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (the creator of Sherlock Holmes) is a classic novel about an inaccessible plateau in South America where dinosaurs still live and breed.

Another classic is 'The Land that Time Forgot' and sequels by Edgar Rice Burroughs (Tarzan). Not as well written as Doyle but non-stop adventure

More recently 'Jurassic Park' by Michael Crichton and his sequel 'The Lost World' with more than a nod to Doyle.

'Dinosaur Planet' and 'Dinosaur Planet Survivors' by Anne McCaffrey. Whole planet stinks. Interesting interplay between normal humans and heavy worlders brought in to do the grunt work. Secret meat eaters in a time when all are vegetarians.

On the factual side I bought loads of dinosaur books from Amazon for my 4 year old nephew for Christmas. I am sure they have some for adults too. For really serious stuff try search palaeontology
